Two SAL cohorts run each year, facilitated by Dan Gallagher with a series of adjunct faculty. These are designed for individual leaders to participate in a development experience that will help make an immediate impact on their own professional growth and the growth of their business.

SAL Virtual Development Programs:

Option One (SALx6): January through June, virtual program  

  • 19 hours of live scheduled development over six months including six modules, six small group coaching circles, and one 1×1 individual coaching session 
  • Training is facilitated by Dan Gallagher, plus six scheduled adjunct faculty 
  • Opportunity to add a 1×1 complementary coaching engagement with a SAL expert

Option Two (SALx4): September through December, virtual program  

  • 16 hours of live scheduled development over four months including four modules, four small group coaching circles, and three 1×1 individual coaching sessions 
  • Training is facilitated by Dan Gallagher, plus four scheduled adjunct faculty 
  • Opportunity to add a 1×1 complementary coaching engagement with a SAL expert 

 

Note: Both options offer the same amount of learning time. Option 1 includes more live sessions, while Option 2 includes more asynchronous development. 

You're On Your Way To Being SAL Certified!

The SAL Certification is a first year only experience that sets you up for success with both marketing and delivering the SAL products.

  • One seat in the SAL Virtual Certification Program which includes a seat in the SAL Virtual Development Program to experience the training firsthand.
  • Two 90-minute group modules at the beginning and end of the SAL program.
  • Two 45-minute 1×1 meetings with Dan Gallagher to be scheduled as requested by the individual being certified.

Choice of individual or team coaching

Individual coaching: Individual coaching is a one-on-one relationship between the coach and the leader being coached. While others who work with the individual being coached are interviewed in the discovery process, this type of engagement is centered on the development of one person. 

Team coaching

Team coaching engages either a team of direct reports or a project team together in a combination of individual and group coaching. The purpose is a dual focus of developing the individuals being coached as well as growing how they work together as a team.

  • Opportunity to focus on leadership, performance, onboarding, strategy, career development, and/or other areas. 
  • Option to use the SAL self-assessment, SAL 360, SAL Team Report and/or other development tools 
  • Two sets of eight 30-minute discovery interviews with key stakeholders 
  • Discovery interviews: Discovery interviews are 30-minute one-on-one interviews between the coach and individuals that work directly with the leader being coached. Using a set of standard qualitative and quantitative questions, the coach can listen and learn how each stakeholder responds to the same set of questions. All responses are confidential as the role of the coach is to aggregate the data in a way that is both meaningful to the person being coaches but also not identifiable in terms of who said what. 
  • Option to extend for an additional six months
